How it works
- Choose a 3D file (STL, OBJ, PLY, GLB, FBX, USDZ or 3MF).
- Check the numbers about the model and choose what should be done.
- Click "Repair model" and read the table with the numbers before and after.
- Choose the format and download the repaired file.
What the repair does
The tool merges identical and very close points, removes triangles without area and duplicate triangles, makes the direction of connected surfaces consistent and outward, and can close small holes with a simple fan. The parts of the model are merged into one surface, so colors are not kept.
The result is measured: open edges (holes), edges shared by more than two triangles, edges with inconsistent direction and separate surfaces. A model counts as a closed solid only when none of the first three are left.
What it cannot do
Not every defect can be repaired automatically. Self-intersections, very thin walls and large missing areas stay. The tool does not guarantee that a slicer accepts the result; the table shows what is still open, so you can decide.

Is my model uploaded?
No. It is repaired in your browser.
Will the result be printable?
If the table shows a closed solid, most slicers accept it. If holes or inconsistent edges remain, the model may still need work in a modeling program.
Why are the numbers "before" measured after merging points?
A surface made of loose triangles has no connections to measure. The points are merged first so that holes and edges can be counted.
Are colors kept?
No. The parts are merged into one surface, so a repaired model has no colors.
