Privacy and output
Files stay on your device. File signatures, structure, output and dimensions are checked. JPG uses white for transparency; PNG and WebP preserve it.
Per image up to 50 MB and 50 megapixels; on smaller devices 16.8 megapixels. Animations become still images. Reencoded files can be larger.
Frequently asked questions
Is a smaller file guaranteed?
No. We show actual file sizes and savings. A clear note appears if the result is larger. We do not promise a target size.
Can I optimize PNG?
This tool initially compresses JPG and WebP. The existing browser encoder cannot reliably demonstrate lossless PNG optimization, so it is not offered.
