How it works
- Choose a PDF file or drag it onto the field above. Small previews of the pages appear.
- Choose the pages: all pages, or selected pages by typing numbers such as 1,3-5 or tapping previews.
- Choose the rotation: 90° clockwise, 180° or 90° counterclockwise. The previews of the chosen pages turn right away.
- Select “Rotate pages”, check the result and select “Download PDF”.
How the rotation works
Pages are turned clockwise by the angle you choose: 90° turns the top of the page to the right, 180° turns it upside down, and 270° (shown as 90° counterclockwise) turns the top to the left.
The rotation is added to any rotation a page already has. A page that is already turned 90° and is rotated by 90° again ends up at 180°. Rotations stored for the whole document are taken into account as well. Page order and content do not change.
What is kept
This tool edits the document itself, so bookmarks, form fields and document properties stay as they are. Only the rotation of the chosen pages changes. Pages you did not select are left untouched.
A digital signature does not survive any change and is removed. Scripts and automatic actions (JavaScript, launch and form submit actions) and attached files are removed. This reduces risk, but it is not a complete security check.
Limits and protected files
Files up to 100 MB with up to 2,000 pages can be processed, or up to 50 MB on smartphones and devices with little memory. Previews are shown for documents with up to 500 pages and up to 40 MB.
PDF files protected by a password or by restrictions are not processed. Remove the protection in the program that created the file, if you are allowed to. Damaged files are rejected with a message.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The file is read and changed in your browser and is never sent to AnyConvertor or to any other server.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Choose “Selected pages” and type the pages, for example 1,3-5, or tap their previews.
Which direction is clockwise?
Clockwise turns the top edge of the page to the right. The previews show the result before you save.
Does the quality of the pages change?
No. Only the rotation setting of the pages changes. The page content is not redrawn or compressed again.
Why does a rotated page still look sideways in another program?
Some programs ignore the rotation setting of a page. Open the file in a current PDF viewer or browser to check it.
