Your documents stay on your device
The PDF tools run entirely in your browser. Files are read, changed and saved on your device and are not uploaded to AnyConvertor or anyone else. PDF files are treated as untrusted: they are checked for damage and size, and scripts and automatic actions are removed from the files the tools create.
Removing these constructs reduces risk, but it is not a complete security check. Open PDF files from unknown sources with care.
PDF pages as pictures
PDF to JPG and PDF to PNG draw every page you choose and store it as a picture. Text and drawings become pixels, so they can no longer be selected or searched, and enlarging a picture never adds detail. You choose 72, 150 or 300 DPI. Several pages are offered as a ZIP file.
What the tools do not do
PDF files protected by a password or by restrictions are not processed. Bookmarks, form fields and document properties are not carried over when files are merged or pages are extracted, and a digital signature does not survive any change. The tools tell you when this applies to your file.

Can I process password protected PDF files?
No. Protected files are rejected with a message. Remove the protection in the program that created the file, if you are allowed to.
